You (alone!) are running some kind of SETI-like facility. Track and interpret signals, maintenance, upgrade your systems, small management aspect. I would call it a simulator with an "X-Factor". And this works very well!Do you want to believe? Do you like Science Fiction? Technical Simulations? Do you loose sleep by that question, if we are alone out there? You want game atmosphere? SETI is cool? You are in nerdy stuff? You are special in some way? Then, this one is for you!!!The X-Factor of the game is its outstanding atmosphere like "I am alone and there is something out there" (and there is! I mean that literally!). This game works in a very special way and is addicting. Yes, there a phases of dull routine but suddenly... and this makes that game so special. Imagine, these signals come from out there...If you are going to receive a creepy signal from outerspace you running cold on the back...haunting... let`s analyze that signal......Wait...was there something on my computer screen?! Is anybody there?! Are we alone?! AM I ALONE?!I do appreciate the work of the developer! And this is a one-man-show! Awesome concept!I deeply hope the work on this game will continue! Great work for a one man project.If you have heart trouble, you may want to pass on this one, though not marketed as a horror title it can scare the crap out of you. It uses your own isolation and the environment to generate paranoia, and It uses the size of the research environment to create a sense of smallness. These are elements that HP Lovecraft used in his writing to create cosmic horror, and this game is very much cosmic horror. The tediousness of maintaining the telescopes and equipment is part of what it means to maintain a radio telescope array, the events are probably way more interesting than what real S.E.T.I. researchers encounter, but they're a thrill ride.. an excellent game to pass the time, with its fair share of jumpy moments.
